PVP is player vs. player. In these game modes, you compete against other Minecraft players on a multiplayer server. If you have never joined a multiplayer server before, my recommendation would be to join a Hypixel server. Or you can also join any of the popular YouTuber’s servers; they will most likely have the maps from our list.

The Walls
In this game mode, there are four teams competing against each other to win the title. All four teams are separated by walls, hence the game mode name, Walls.
All the teams must farm resources and craft items and weapons in their respective blocks. There is only a limited amount of time for you to farm and prepare. After the time is up, the walls disappear, allowing all four teams to fight against each other. The last one standing wins the game.
Skyblock
Our second choice of PVP game is called Skyblock. You might have already seen popular YouTubers like Pewdiepie and others play this game.
Once the game begins, you spawn on a very small block in the sky with just a tree and a chest.
The goal of this game mode is to build and expand your base, starting from that one tree, and survive as long as possible. Does it sound boring and just like the normal survival mode? But do you know what makes it one of the most exciting and most played games? It’s the PVP.
There are other players on different blocks, farming resources and crafting items of their own. Now, you can either attack them or defend your own loot.
You can also play this game mode with your friends as a team, without PVP, but since you’re looking for a challenge, you must definitely try fighting against other players.
Bedwars
You might have already guessed our first choice of game mode, Bedwars. In this mini-game, you and your team spawn on an island of your own, and each island has a bed on it.
All the islands will also have a resource spawner and shops. You can equip better gear with the resources you gather.
The goal of this mini-game is super simple, you have to defend your own bed and destroy the other player’s beds. You can respawn as many times as possible, as long as your bed is intact. Once it is destroyed, you can no longer spawn after you die, and you’re eliminated.
All the islands are away from each other and are not connected. You or the other players must build a way from their island to another for PVP.
This mini-game gets really intense, especially when crossing from one island to another. There are diamonds spawning in the center of the map, and that is where most of the PVP happens.
